Mr. Porter C. Harris III, 74, of Odenville, Alabama, formerly of Ozark, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. A memorial visitation honoring Porter and Deborah Mason Harris will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City from 5:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M. A memorial service will also be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 16, 2023, in the Westview Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Ozark, Alabama with Reverend Kenneth Andrews officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Anne Mason Harris, brother, Dan Talley, and parents, P. C. and Estelle Harris. He is survived by his sons, Clark Harris (Alvin Diamond) and Griffin Harris; granddaughter, Katie Anne Harris; sister, Sandy Howell (Steve); brothers, Bob Talley (Susan) and Bill Talley (Cathy); and special sister-in-law, Kathy Talley and Pat McCarron; and the mother of his children, Nancy Griffin Baker. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made toward the Troy University Arboretum Restoration.
