As the eldest child of Fred Flowers, manager of the
Western Union, it was always a special treat to go to the office and visit with Hazel.
I remember her as being so very kind to me and explaining all the machines to me. She always managed to have a special treat to share.
I have very enjoyable memories of the time she spent with me. All our family was very fond of Hazel..
