Obituary of Barbara Mitchell Camp

Mrs. Barbara Mitchell Camp, 80, formerly of Ozark, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Camp will be held 2:30 P. M. Friday, November 24, 2017, from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ozark with Reverend Patrick Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends in the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 1:00 P.M. until time to depart for the church. Mrs. Camp was born December 18, 1936 in Gainesville, Florida to the late William Kinney Mitchell and Mary Elizabeth Hazlinger Mitchell. She was a faithful member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Ozark and worked for many years with Sears in Ozark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Camp, Jr.; one sister, Irene Mitchell; and her half-brother, Russell Mitchell. Survivors include her children, William Louis (Debi) Camp of Dothan, Alabama, Ann (Bruce) Justinger of Odenville, Alabama, Eleanor Colon of Prattville, Alabama, Philip Camp of Ann Arbor, Michigan; grandsons, Andy (Leigh Anne) Freeman of Seale, Alabama, Anthony (Erika) Freeman of Trussville, Alabama, Christopher Camp of Dothan, Alabama, Alex (Siobhan) Justinger of Burbank, California; granddaughters, Charla Camp of Dothan, Alabama, Stephanie Justinger of Leeds, Alabama, Anthea Camp of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sophia Camp of Ann Arbor, Michigan; five great grandchildren, Alex, Isabella, Cala, Dominic, and Harrison; one sister, Mary (Nelson) LaFrancis of Fairfield, Iowa.
