“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade”, was told to me from Aunt Janis back in 2002 at Grandma’s house. Each time life deals lemons, I will always remember how Aunt Janis took those lemons and made lemonade. She took the difficult and sourness in life and turned it into something positive. To Ken, Mark and all her family – my thoughts and prayers are with you. She brought sunshine to everyone. I know Penny (Daddy) will be one of the first to welcome her HOME!

Mrs. Gibson was my third grade teacher at Ariton School. She was the sweetest and loved all of her students. Praying for the family now and the days ahead.

What good memories of have of Janis over the years. She was always welcoming when you met her and interested in you and your family. She was admired by her students over her years as a teacher.
