Obituary of Grace Jones Weaver

Mrs. Elma Grace Jones Sellers Weaver, a resident of Ozark, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, in Oakview Manor Nursing Facility. She was 93 years old. Funeral services for Mrs. Weaver will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Keith Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark from 9:30 A.M. until service time. Mrs. Weaver was born March 18, 1930 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Benjamin Frank Jones and Colleen Williams Jones. She worked with Dale Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years and later as a personal caregiver to many home patients. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Weaver; and her son, Joe Frank Sellers (Sevilla); one grandson, Jason Jones; and daughter-in-law, Nancy Sellers. She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Bowman (Johnny) and Ann Phillips (Sam) both of Ozark; one son, Jackie Sellers of Pell City; one sister, Betty Hussy of Brundidge; six grandchildren, Dr. Brian Sellers (Robin) of Montgomery, Jessica Evans (Tyler) of Ozark, Brittany Bowman of Ozark, Michael Strickland of Ozark, Nicci Danreiter of Wisconsin and Sarah Phillips (Elise) of Austell, Georgia; great grandchildren, Andrew and Callie Sellers, Ashton Jones, Kaileigh Gardner, Casen Kellum, Haylee Kellum, Peyton and Morgan Sanders, Skylar Gissendanner, Jackie Sellers, Josh Bahorik and Savannah Waters (Jordan); great-great grandchildren, Noah, Sam, Jack, Gabriel, Elora, Kaiya Sellers and Elliott Waters. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
