Obituary of Andrew Griffin Harris

Mr. Andrew Griffin Harris, a former resident of Ozark, died unexpectedly Monday, July 15, 2024, in Riverside, Alabama. He was 45 years old. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Holman Funeral Home of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements. Andrew Griffin Harris was born November 15, 1978 in Ozark, Alabama. He lived his childhood years in Ozark and later lived in the Birmingham area. Griffin loved the outdoors, mainly hunting and fishing. He was an avid Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Porter and Debbie Harris; his grandparents, Arnold and Jeanette Griffin and P. C. and Estelle Harris. Left to cherish is memory are his daughter, Katharine Anne Harris of Hoover, Alabama; his mother, Nancy Baker (Ben) of Ozark; brother, Clark Harris (Alvin Diamond) of Troy; aunt, Celeste Horne (Tommy) of Dothan; and Katie’s mother, Sally Gregson (Brian) of Hoover, Alabama. He is also survived by multiple cousins and extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Methodist Church Playground Fund, 246 Church Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
