Mrs. Sandra Lynn Phillips Casey, a resident of Newton, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in Flowers Hospital. She was 77 years old.

Private funeral services for Mrs. Casey will be graveside 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Peters and Reverend Jason Miller officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

Mrs. Casey was born January 29, 1947 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Hubert Conrad Phillips and Mary V. Conner Phillips. She graduated from Dale County High School in 1965. Following graduation, she went to work with Civil Service in the photo lab and transferred to the Army Aviation Museum where she retired following twenty-eight years of service. Sandra was a member of Harvest Free Will Baptist Church and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joel Casey of Newton; and one sister, Pam Blakey (Phillip) of Birmingham.
