Obituary of Joseph W. "Joe" Kramer Jr.
Mr. Joseph William “Joe” Kramer, Jr., a resident of Ozark, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home. He was 76 years old.

Mr. Kramer was born April 4, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Joseph William Kramer Sr. and Marilyn Mueller Kramer. He attended high school in St. Louis and later joined the United States Army where he served in the infantry. During his tour of duty in Vietnam he was wounded. He received the Purple Heart and was honorably discharged. Following his military service, he moved back to St. Louis where he was employed with the United States Postal Service. Joe took a transfer from St. Louis to Fort Walton Beach, Florida to escape the cold weather where he served as the President of the Postal Union. Joe met his wife, Carol Ann Cooper, in Fort Walton Beach, they were married and moved to Ozark. He continued his service with the post office until his retirement following a total of thirty years of employment. Joe was an avid tennis and softball player who enjoyed exercising and reading. He loved his family especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Jenny Parrish and Danielle Foley.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Carol Ann Cooper Kramer of Ozark; four daughters, Heather Robinson (Dion) of Ozark and Nicole Bullard (Randy) of St. Louis; two sons, Joseph William Kramer III of St. Louis and Jeff Tarent (Erica) of Missouri; two sisters, Mary Ann Chapman (Larry) and Jeanne Kramer both of St. Louis; two brothers, Greg Kramer (Karen) and Dave Kramer (Rachel) both of St. Louis. Five beloved grandchildren also survive.
