My family lived across the road from your family. I a Sandra Etheredge Pritchett. Mama let me run across the road to visit Ms. Reba. I was so excited to see the new baby. For a while I only got to look at him as he slept. One day to my surprise, she asked me if I would like to hold him. I was thrilled. She had me set in a chair and showed me how to hold my arms to hold him. When she laid him in my arms, she she a desire in heart to be a mother one day. He had such beautiful hair, never cried as I held him. Mama and Daddy were friends with Reba and Bennett, sometimes we would have supper with them. We moved to Hartford and had the family down for supper. I remember Ms. Reba setting beside me at the picnic table. Daddy had grilled hamburgers, mama fried french fries and I made a cake. I didn't think it was to good, but Ms. Reba told me it was! Memories are nice to recall of this family. Sammy you were a beautiful baby!! Sandra
