I went to Fort Rucker Elementary School in the 60's, and I was so happy to meet Ms Suiter at Daleville Baptist Church, where she remembered all my teachers there, and where they are now. She was my first and only connection to a past over 50 years ago. It meant a lot to me.
She also wrote beautifully, reading a lovely poem about former members of our church that she had known for many years. A beautiful passage, and her reading of it made it all the more lovely to hear, with her perfect southern lady's voice.
So sorry to lose her, she will be missed.
