Mr. Kenneth Charles Beal, 58, of Ozark, died Sunday, July 16, 2017.
A memorial service for Mr. Beal will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 11, 2017, from Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Larry Lambert officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.
Mr. Beal was born October 26, 1958 in Gloucester, Massachusetts to the late Lloyd Beal and Marilyn Balzarini Beal. He was raised in Rockport, Massachusetts and later served for three years in the United States Army. Also known as “Captain Ken”, he was a very kind and compassionate person, a fisherman and a lobsterman. Mr. Beal was a cook with Medical Center Enterprise and Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center in Dothan.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Gamradt Beal of Ozark; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jesse Holmes of Rockport, Massachusetts; three sons, Anthony Beal of Beverly, Massachusetts, Nicholas Beal of Humboldt, California, and Christopher Beal, United States Navy; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Gamradt of Ozark; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Perrieira-Andrews and Leonard “LJ” Andrews of Lynn Massachusetts; one step-son and daughter-in-law, James and Tanya Francis of Fort Huachuca, Arizona (United States Army); one granddaughter, Elizabeth Beal; one grandson, Finn Holmes; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Richard Beal, and Paul and Lauren Beal all of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Several nieces and nephews that were very special to him.
