Obituary of Gerald Forrest Wright

Mr. Gerald Forrest Wright, 57, of Skipperville, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in Birmingham. A private memorial service for Mr. Wright will be held at a later date. Forrest was born April 26, 1960 in Ozark, Alabama where he was a 1978 graduate of Carroll High School. Forrest enjoyed the “social hour” at H & W Store in Skipperville, teasing his friends, and having fun. He was an avid hog hunter and was very fond of his dogs. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Wright. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Ann Tull Wright of Skipperville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie Ann and Brady McDaniel of Skipperville, Ashley and Paden Clement of Jasper; one son and daughter-in-law, Jared Corey and Tamara Wright of Ozark; his Mother, Joy Parr Wright of Ozark; one sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Philip Winslett of Ozark; one brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Angel Wright of Ozark; four grandchildren, Austin McDaniel and Logan McDaniel of Skipperville, Breslin Clement of Jasper, Makenzie Wright of Ozark; one nephew, Kolten Walker of Skipperville.
