Mr. George Thomas Robinson, 67, of Ariton, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016, in Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, May 19, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with Reverend Bobby Ned Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Universalist Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Robinson was born September 9, 1948 in Barbour County to the late Thomas Junior Robinson and Annie Lee Beavers Robinson. He was a 1968 graduate of Barbour County High School in Clio. He was employed in quality control with Con Agra Poultry in Enterprise until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Bishop Robinson; one daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and Kenneth Phillips; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Martin and Regina Robinson; four grandchildren, Joel McMillon, Jake McMillon, Katie Margaret Robinson, and Morgan Phillips all of Ariton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Clara and Wayne Wood of Ozark, Sandra and Clay Ellis of Newton; one brother and sister-in-law, Mickey and Mandy Winstead of Newton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ariton Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 183, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
