Obituary of Daniel Logan Grantham

Mr. Daniel Logan Grantham, 15, of Skipperville, died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, as a result of a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P. M. Thursday, August 4, 2016, from Asbury United Methodist Church with Reverend Bob Cox and Reverend Russell Hagler officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Daniel was born May 21, 2001 in Ozark, Alabama. He was a sophomore student at G. W. Long High School in Skipperville. Daniel loved and excelled in all sports. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who had a great love for the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Miriam Grantham; and his maternal grandfather, Gene Snell.
Survivors include his parents, Rickey and June Snell Grantham of Skipperville; two sisters, Amy Shaw (Scott) of Enterprise and Emily Wilson of Ozark; his maternal grandmother, Mary Strickland Snell of Skipperville; his paternal grandfather, Joe Grantham of Echo; aunts and uncles, Dr. Bob and Sherri Snell of Skipperville, and Randy Grantham of Skipperville; a special nephew, Weston Grantham of Skipperville. Other nieces and nephews also survive.
