Obituary of James R. Carnal

Mr. James Roy “Jimmy” Carnal, 54, of Abbeville, died Thursday evening, March 10, 2016, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:30 P. M. Sunday, March 13, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Mickey Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark from 1:00 P. M. Sunday until service time. Mr. Carnal was born April 18, 1961 in Berlin, Germany to the late James Laron Carnal and Renate` Geisla Berger Carnal. He had lived most of his life in Ozark and was a Security Guard for Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and ATV riding. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Logan Carnal; two step-daughters, Amber Hawkins (Daniel) and Brandi Williams; his father-in-law, E. W. Logan; one grandson, Drake Hawkins; one granddaughter due to be born in April; three sisters, Patty Cranston (Jeff), Diana Simpson (Scott), Debra Stack (Tom); two sisters-in-law, Diane Kautz (Cliff), Phyllis Hull (Bill); nine nieces and nephews; five great nieces and nephews.
