Mike and Melissa,
I have so many fond memories of us and my brother Bobby growing together as children when we all lived on Newton Street/Avenue. Our parents spent so much time together as friends and working with the VFW. I will miss visiting Ozark and talking with Miss Eva. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have learned that time heals and that memories are with us for a lifetime. My love to each of you, Diane

Mike and Melissa,
Please know that my thoughts are with you. Having your mom for such a long time doesn't make her absence any easier. She will be very much missed. I remember how much comfort your mom was during my own mother's illness. I will always remember that both of our moms had that way of raising one eyebrow when they were expressing possible disagreement - at least that is how I would like to think of that raised eyebrow.
Your mom left behind wonderful, positive ripples . . . what a blessing.

Melissa & Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I know that you all are struggling right now & I don't quit have the words to say & really don't know what to say other then I am so very sorry. Melissa, you know that you became a special friend to me while you were working with me at the City of Ozark and I miss you. Your Mom was so dear to you and I was so shocked to hear about your loss. The one thing you have to look to is that she is now with your Dad, in his arms, holding his hand, where she truly wants to be. She isn't in any pain. I know that you were her everything and she depended on you just as you depended on you her. You're gonna be ok! You have alot of people & that 4-legged baby of yours at home to look after. There are days that are gonna be tough & your don't think your gonna be able to get through them. But stand back and look at the BIG picture. She is fine now. She isn't dependent on anyone anymore. She is pain free. She is happy, health, walking and wheelchair bound. She is with your dad. She is where she wants to be......in Heaven, with our Lord on one side and your Dad on the other. She has it better then we do. You all can rest assure that she is a lot better now.
Melissa, I am here if you ever want to talk, need a should to cry on, someone to go out to eat with, or just someone to listen. I love you, girl. You have become a special friend to me. And again, I am so sorry.
