Obituary of Edward Thearon Kelley

Mr. Edward Thearon Kelley, 66, of Ariton, died late Monday evening, March 27, 2017, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, March 30, 2017, in Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Adams and Reverend Bill Weed officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Ozark from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mr. Kelley was born January 30, 1951 in Ozark, Alabama. He was a graduate of Carroll High School, class of 1969. He had worked at Fort Rucker since 1973 where he was Director of Logistics Maintenance. Mr. Kelley served as Pastoral Assistant at Glory to Him Fellowship Church for seventeen years. He had a giving spirit and enjoyed helping anyone that was in need. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Sharon Baker Kelley; his father, Ray Edward Kelley; and one brother, Donald Lane Kelley.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Martha Dykes Kelley of Ozark; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher Kelley of Nashville, Tennessee, David and Amy Kelley of Montgomery; one sister, Janice Lucas of Troy; one brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Jacqueline Kelley of Ozark. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
