Mr. Robert W. "Bob" Creech, age 84, of Daleville, died Friday, May 16, 2008, in the Long Term Care Hospital at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday, May 19, 2008, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Glenn Pippens and Reverend Judson Waldrop officiating. Entombment will follow with full military honors in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P. M. Monday until service time. Mr. Creech was born April 10, 1924 in Rutledge, Tennessee to the late Lula Mae Vesser Creech and Elie Lee Creech. He and his family lived in various places while serving in the United States Army. He served in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War, retiring in 1976 with 30 years of service. Following his retirement he made his home in Daleville where he was a member of Daleville Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Virgie Lee Atkins and Polly Helen Runyan. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Poston Creech of Daleville; one daughter, Kimberley Shaun Arsenault of Dothan; one sister, Kay Pruitt of Knoxville, Tennessee. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his memory to your favorite charity.
