Obituary of Lisa Cook German

Mrs. Lisa Cook German, age 38, of Newton, died Friday, April 10, 1008, in a Dothan hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Monday evening. Mrs. German was born December 23, 1970 in Biloxi, Mississippi and lived in various places while her parents were in the military service. They moved to Ozark in 1987, and have lived in Newton since 2000. She was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah LeAnne Smith Vazquez in 2006. Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Haston German; two sons, David Allen German and Brandon Cole German; her parents, Jimmy Earl and Linda Bludsworth Cook all of Newton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Martha Gayle and Arsenio Santos of Sacramento, California, and Shelia Knutson of Bullard, Texas.
