Miss Nell Dowling, of Montgomery, formerly of Ozark, died Saturday, October 2, 2004, in Montgomery. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, October 4, 2004, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend John D. Reese, III officiating. Interment will follow in Claybank Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at Holman Funeral Home in Ozark from 10:00 A. M. Monday until service time. Miss Dowling was a native of Ozark. She had lived the past 50 years in Montgomery where she retired as the Secretary of a land development corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sallie Mac Williams Dowling and Frederick Tolbert Dowling, Sr., two sisters, Jule Laughlin and Sara Bagwell, and one brother, Fred T. Dowling, Jr. Survivors include three nieces, Saralyn Laughlin, Fort Collins, Colorado, Sara D. Bishop, Atlanta, Georgia, and Erin McCabe, Franklin, Tennessee, two nephews, George T. Laughlin and John F. Laughlin, Fort Collins, Colorado, and friends, The Walter Bamberg Family, Montgomery, Alabama. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
