Mr. Patrick John "P.J." Hinmon, age 54, died Friday morning, October 9, 1009, in Dale Medical Center. A memorial service for Mr. Hinmon will be held at 2:00 P. M. Monday, October 12, 2009, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Randy Taylor officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the family home, 1745 Mixon School Road in Ozark. Mr. Hinmon was born May 20, 1955 in Iowa to B. K. and Dorothy Mulvihill Hinmon. He joined the United States Army upon graduation from high school, retired as an Air Traffic Controller following 22 years of service, and made Ozark his home. Mr. Hinmon worked for Computer Science Corporation in Daleville for the last five and one half years. He was an avid golfer, Florida State University football fan, but most of all adored his granddaughter, Peyton. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Christine Hinmon of Ozark; one daughter and son-in-law, Astra and Dylan Pentecost of Watertown, New York; his Mother and Father, B. K. and Dorothy Mulvihill Hinmon; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Linda Hinmon, and Mike and Dorene Hinmon all of Marshalltown, Iowa; one granddaughter, Peyton Pentecost of Watertown, New York.
