Mr. William Patrick Cobb, I, age 66, of Ozark, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, in the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, November 5, 2009 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery with Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Wednesday evening. Mr. Cobb was born April 16, 1943, in Midland City, Alabama to the late George Milford Cobb and Marion Doris Faulkner Cobb. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and worked as CEO and Project Manager for Davis Construction and Daniel Construction in the construction business most of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Dana L. Cobb and Marguita L. Cobb. Survivors include three daughters and son-in-law, Paula Lea and Jerry West of Decatur, Alabama, Tina Diggs of Newton, and Patty M. Collins of Ozark; one son, William Patrick Cobb, II and wife, Tifney of Mobile; his ex-wife, Elizabeth Cobb Wolverton of Newton; three sisters, Ann Blackshear Detwiler of Level Plains, Karla Johns of Dothan, Karen Pritchett of Dothan; one brother, Harry Blackshear of Dothan. Ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Service Information
