Mr. George Milton Peacock, age 85, of Newton, died Friday morning, March 12, 2010, in the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, March 14, 2010, in Lee Cemetery with Reverend Anthony Tutor officiating. Interment will follow with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 1:30 P.M. Mr. Peacock was born April 20, 1924 in Dale County to the late William Green Peacock and Ida Annette Lee Peacock. He farmed and worked with Pemco Aerospace at Napier Field until his retirement. He was a member of Spring Hill Methodist Church at Klondyke Hill. Survivors include one sister, Beatrice Childree of Newton; one brother, O'Neal Peacock of Georgetown, Georgia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Service Information
