Obituary of Jerry Bruce Grammont

Mr. Jerry Bruce Grammont, 79, of Ozark, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dothan, Alabama. Funeral services will be graveside at 2:00 P. M. Friday, February 27, 2015, in Westview Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Jack Wingate officiating, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. Mr. Grammont was born February 23, 1936 in Enid, Oklahoma, to the late Erma and Russell Grammont. He retired from Civil Service as Fire Chief of Fort Rucker in 1996. He was the devoted father of Greg Grammont, Cindy Pritchett (Gary), Kelly Gray (Dallas), and Lori Jackson (Jay); loving grandfather of Trey Grammont, Erika Bell, Christiana Hollis Woodham, Caroline Jackson, Harrison Gray, Lake Jackson, and great-grandson, Kaden Bell. He is also survived by the loving mother of his children, Sharon Simpson Heath. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Grammont, and his mother, Erma Grammont. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Extendicare Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dothan for their love and care they extended to Mr. Grammont. Service Information
