I'm sending all my love and prayers to the family of this wonderful man. Dr. Strength was a kind and caring teacher at EHS; I had him for Senior English, where he helped to spark a lifelong passion in me for great literature, especially Shakespeare. He will not be forgotten by those who knew him - may his soul rest in eternal peace.

To the family,
My condolences to you all. I pray that God will strengthen and comfort you in your time of loss. Let me express my thanks to you all for sharing such a great man and inspiration to myself in this earth for this brief time as a teacher of English Literature. He made the subject of learning come alive with such vigor, grace and blessedness. He has one of a few teachers that I will always remember in my life and I cannot help to remember him with a smile, a laugh or a giggle because if he ever had a down day, one would never know. Thank YOU Mr. Strength !!!!

Bonnie and Family,
Sorry to hear of your loss. I am not as sad as I usually am at losing a friend because I know that Jim has been reunited with his family and friends who have gone on before him especially his son Mark. Knowing Mark was a bit impatient, he probably told Jim that he had been waiting around a couple of days for him to get to heaven and what took so long!! I can imagine that Jim wrapped his arms around Mark and began weeping for joy! And then there was the reuinion with his other children who had passed previously. The guy in charge of the Pearly Gates is still probably trying to get a word in edge wise if you know what I mean. HA! HA! Good bye for now Jim I will be listening for your wonderful voice singing the gospel songs you loved so much as I walk through my ragged garden. Jim loved his Bonnie and Children and spoke of them with love and admiration everytime that we got together for a chat. With Love, Darrell and Jeffery Spraggins
