Obituary of Dorothy Vernon Segers

Mrs. Segers was a native and life-long resident of the Salem Community and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She worked with Van Heusen until her retirement in 1970. She was a master chef, catering parties and weddings, known as the "Cake Lady". She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewie Segers, an infant daughter, Peggy Joyce Segers, one sister, Mildred Prichett, and one brother, James H. Dykes.
