Obituary of Charles Taylor Mitchell

Mr. Charles Taylor Mitchell, 19, of Ozark, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in Dale Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Jason Whitmire officiating, Holman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P.M.
Taylor was born July 8, 1994 in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Carroll High School in 2012 where he was a member of the CHS Golf Team, and had attended Wallace College. He was previously employed with the City of Ozark Department of Leisure Services, was an avid University of Alabama fan, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Martha Mitchell.
Survivors include his father, Britt Mitchell of Ozark;
his mother and step-father, Patti and Terry Davis of Ozark;
two brothers, Justin Davis and his fiancé, Danielle Canedo of Baton Rouge, LA, and Terry Davis, Jr. of Atlanta;
two special aunts, Ami Miller and Shannon Gill of Ozark;
maternal grandparents, Billy and Martha Miller of Ozark;
paternal grandfather, Ewell Mitchell, Jr. of Ozark;
maternal great grandmother, Louise Chancey of Ozark;
step-grandfather, Charlie Davis of Bogalusa, LA.
Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
