Obituary of Linda Herring Walker

Mrs. Linda Herring Walker, 64, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, October 23, 2014, at her home. A memorial service for Mrs. Walker will be held at a later date to be announced by Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark. Mrs. Walker was born October 11, 1950 in Enterprise, Alabama to the late James Nelson Herring and Ruth Jean Kyser Herring. She grew up in Ozark and worked for various convenience stores in Ozark. She was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Hinson. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Walker of Ozark; two daughters, Tamara Walker and Sherry Ray of Ozark; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Eric Ray of Brundidge and Derrick and Starla Ray of Ozark; three sisters, Ruby Dickerson of Ozark, Annette Chenowith of Cowarts, and Barbara Herring of Panama City; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Michael Herring of Panama City, Bobby and Lisa Herring of Daleville; seven grandchildren, Makenzie Wright, Clayton Cook, Chandler Cook, Hunter Cook, Zanyiah Ray, Gage Ray, and Lydia Ray.
