Mrs. Nan Coleman Walding, 85, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013, in Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Steve King and Reverend Bill Hix officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Nan Coleman Walding was born December 10, 1927 in Coffee Springs, Alabama to the late William Augustus Coleman and Etta Marie Riley Coleman. She was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Col. (U.S. Army Retired) Henry Dan Walding, Sr.
Survivors include one son, Henry Dan Walding, Jr. of Ozark;
three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Jerry Sturdivant of Pinckard, Mary and Jim Madison of Ft. Gordon, Georgia, Julie and Bob Atterbury of Madison, Alabama;
four grandchildren, James G. Madison, IV, Dan Coleman Madison, Carol Atterbury Martin, Mary Elizabeth Atterbury Strange;
three great grandchildren, Gabriel Martin, Arianna Martin, and Audrey Martin;
one brother, Roger Coleman of Orlando, Florida.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
