Mrs. Elizabeth Leanna Moredock Thomas, age 87, of Ozark, Alabama, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Thomas was born February 6, 1920 in Green County, Pennsylvania to the late Harry James and Edna Thompson Moredock. She lived in various places while her late husband, Capt. Harold Raymond Thomas served in the United States Army. She was a Worthy Matron in The Eastern Star of Petersburg, Virginia and Guardian of Job's Daughters of Bethel #29. She worked with Civil Service for 20 years until her retirement. Mrs. Thomas moved to Ozark with her daughter from Placerville, California in November 2005. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Carroll of Ozark; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Jackie Thomas of Placerville, California; five grandchildren, Tyler Thomas, Michael Thomas,Lisa Mathews, Sasha Hight, and Troy Hight; one sister, Gerry Pitchforth of Arundel, Maine; and one brother, James Moredock of Schaghticoke, New York.
