Obituary of Michael Lee Snider

Michael Lee Snider, age 4, died Thursday, March 19, 2009, in Children's Hospital at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Charles Littlefield officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Enon Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P. M. Monday evening. Michael was born October 3, 2004 in Dothan, Alabama, and had fought a courageous battle with Type I Diabetes. His parents chose to donate his organs so that other children may have a chance at life, and for the research of diabetes. He will be lovingly remembered by all who had the chance to meet him. Survivors include his loving parents, Newman Snider and Krystal Woods, one sister, Kailiegh Snider, all of Ozark; maternal grandparents, Buster and Debra Woods of Midland City; paternal grandparents, William and Betty Walker of Ozark; aunts and uncles, Tim Eldridge of Midland City, Gavin and Whitney Woods of Midland City, Paula Barr, Philisha and Phillip LeBouf, William and Diedra Walker all of Ozark, Angelique and Gene Hamby of Guymon, Oklahoma. Numerous cousins also survive.
