Mrs. Linda Bludsworth Cook, age 70, of Newton, died Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, May 27, 2011, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill and Reverend Kerry Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Cook was born October 7, 1940 in Dale County to the late William Alto Bludsworth and Lennie Whitehead Bludsworth. She had lived in various places while her husband served in the United States Air Force. She has lived in Newton since 1997, and was an avid bingo player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah LeeAnn Vazquez and Lisa Marie Cook German; and one grandchild, Lennie Elizabeth Algarin. Survivors include her husband Jimmy Earl Cook of Newton; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Martha Gayle "Marti" and Arsenio Santos of Sacramento, California, Sheila Jo Knutson of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Haston German of Midland City; two sisters, Martha Virginia Duffey of Newton and Earlene Bludsworth of Clayhatchee; one brother, Curtis Bludsworth of Sacramento, California; ten grandchildren, James M. Duffy, Joshua Shamburger, Kristina Knutson, Lindsay Knutson, David Allen German, Brandon Cole German, Jacob Santos, Christopher Santos, Sabrina Santos, and Felisa Santos. Service Information
