Obituary of Richard W. Harry

Mr. Richard W. Harry, age 41, of Newton, died Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Mons, Belgium following an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, August 27, 2008, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Tuesday evening. Mr. Harry was born June 3, 1967 in Columbus, Georgia, living in various places while his father served in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Wallace College and a lab technician at Flowers Hospital, Elba General Hospital, and Dale Medical Center. Mr. Harry had been living in Mons, Belgium since July 8, 2008. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bennie Morris. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Harry of Newton; two daughters, Ashley Sage Harry and Katelynn Michelle Harry of Newton; Father, Robert E. Harry, Sr. of Ozark; Mother, Gloria V. Harry of Ozark; Biological Father, George W. Perkins, II of Eufaula; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim and Rob Rosin of Eufaula, April and Benton Jones of Dothan; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert E. Harry, Jr. of Montgomery, Brian and Jamie Harry of Dothan; three nieces, Kelly, Olivia, and Alex Harry. Memorials may be made to a fund for his children, Ashley Harry and Katelynn Harry, and may be mailed to Community Bank and Trust, Melissa F. Harry Memorial Fund, P. O.
