She was mama ruby to me my grandmother
I remember every moment I ever spent with mama ruby making biscuits ,fishing gathering from garden
She was a farmers wife and a work horse.great cook and very loving to everyone around her.
We shared many talks and she was always someone to help with any problem or questions.
She was a nurse in doctor Holman office many years and spent years careing for her friends in nursing homes.
I don't think she ever missed a funeral of anyone she new or anyone she new who lost someone.
I once asked her about black and whites and hatred.she said imagine everyone as your mother grandmother brother sister or child and respect and love them.help everyone.
She was and will always be our matriarch, always in our hearts but dearly missed.
Dale county has a much different feel as I drive around these days.
