Mrs. Myrtle Glisson Bright, age 75, of Ozark, died Thursday morning, September 2, 2010, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, September 5, 2010, from Chalkhead Baptist Church with Reverend Tommy West and Reverend Tom Skeen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Her body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time Sunday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Saturday. Mrs. Bright was born November 23, 1934 in Donaldsonville, Georgia to the late Shellie Glisson and Clara Merle Davis Glisson Richardson. She was a homemaker and a member of Chalkhead Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Junior Bright. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline and Jackie Bagwell, Caroline Howell, Sondra and Harry Miliner, Regina and Danny Dossett; grandchildren, Amy and Dale Gaddis, Jeffrey and Angie Bagwell, Jonathan Leatherwood, Krystle Leatherwood, Megan Dossett; great grandchildren, Connor Gaddis and Reagan Bagwell; sister, Myrtice Parish; many special friends and other relatives. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Chalkhead Baptist Church, 495 County Road 35, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to the charity of your choice. Service Information
