Obituary of Allan Buford Segars

Mr. Allan Buford Segars, age 48, of Skipperville, died Wednesday morning, May 14, 2008. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, May 18, 2008, from Salem Baptist Church with Reverend Harold Peters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. His body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Sunday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Saturday. Preceding him in death are grandparents, Corbit and Ella Segars of Skipperville, Artice and Mary Idaliah Pippins of Slocomb. Allan leaves behind to cherish his memory his father and mother, Bennie and Melba "Katie" Segars of Skipperville; one brother, Ricky Segars and wife Brenda of Skipperville; his fiance, Pam Morrow of Ozark; her children, Jessica and Trey Morrow, Kevin and Megan Titmas of Ozark. Other survivors include his nieces, Samantha Taylor and husband Chris, their daughter, Mackenzie, Sabrina Peters and husband Matt, all of Ozark. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Peters, Gerry Pippins, Eddie Segars, Tim Watson, Kenneth Morgan, Glen Johnson, Bobby Johnson, and Phillip Holland. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church, C/O Mr. Don Johnson, P. O. Box 196, Skipperville, Alabama 36375. May God bless each and everyone.
