Obituary of Regina Littlefield Watson

Mrs. Regina Littlefield Watson, age 56, of Ozark, died Thursday evening, August 7, 2008, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Morgan Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Weed officiating. Interment will follow in Bersheba Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Watson's body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Friday evening. Mrs. Watson was born May 11, 1952 in Blue Springs to the late Jack and Mable Cox Littlefield. She attended school in Blue Springs and Louisville, graduating from Louisville High School. She graduated from The Alabama School of Banking at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Mrs. Watson worked for the Commercial Bank for thirty-three years in various positions including teller, loan officer, bookkeeping, and retired as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager. She was an avid Alabama Football fan and enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Littlefield. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Jimmy Watson of Ozark; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jeremy Armstrong of Calera, Alabama; one son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Rhonda Watson of Skipperville; her Mother-In-Law, Mrs. Ruth Watson of Skipperville; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Dee Heskett of Abbeville, Nell and Norman Cutchins of Eufaula, Dot McCoy of Blue Springs, Linda and Roy Monday of Blue Springs, Glenda and Billy Goodson of Ariton, Sue and Dan Heskett of Trevor City, Mississippi; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Jewell Littlefield, Jr. of Montgomery, Randall and Cheryl Littlefield of Blue Springs, Johnny and Jean Littlefield of Shorterville, Hank and Shirley Littlefield of Blue Springs, Leamon and Harriett Littlefield of Blue Springs; four grandchildren, Holt, Hasten, and Grant Watson, and Steel Armstrong. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Morgan Baptist Church Building Fund, 3797 County Road 333, Skipperville, Alabama 36374, or to Wiregrass Hospice, P. O.
