Mrs. Ruth Margaret Maund Bowman, age 89, of Ozark, died early Thursday morning, July 14, 2011. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, July 15, 2011, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 A. M. until service time. Mrs. Bowman was born August 19, 1921 in Dale County to the late Samuel Jasper Maund and Mallie Vera Woodham Maund. She was a native of the Chalkhead Community and a member of Chalkhead Baptist Church. Mrs. Bowman and her late husband, Syntha, owned and operated Bowman Radio and Refrigeration Company until their retirement. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Judith Bowman of Valparaiso, Florida; three sisters and brother-in-law, Helen Deese, Jeanette Coaker , and Louise and Stan Hughes all of Ozark; one brother and sister-in-law, Sam J. and Frances Maund of Ozark.
