James S. Ritter of Enterprise, Al passed away November 3, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 65. The funeral services will be private, directed by Holman Funeral Home of Ozark. He was born in Westpoint, Mississippi to Helda Gagner and James M. Ritter. He served in the United States Army for 16 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He then worked as a civilian on various military bases as an Electronics Technician until 2001. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Joyce Ritter; his children; James M. Ritter II (Trudy Ritter), Josh S. Ritter (Nancy Ritter), Jennifer Chaffin (Scot Chaffin) and Natasha Stinson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Alexis Ritter, Emily Ritter, Joy Ritter, Braden Ritter, Madison Ritter, and Brooke Chaffin. The family requests that rather than sending flowers to please donate to the Wounded Warriors Project in honor of James S Ritter.
