Obituary of T. R. Munn

Mr. T. R. Munn, Sr., age 97, of Ozark died early Sunday morning, June 6, 2010, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Clayton Chesser and Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 P. M. until service time. Mr. Munn was born July 9, 1912 in Dale County to the late Robert L. and Sallie Morris Munn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Louise Bludsworth Munn; two daughters, Clara Myrl Fisher and Helen Michalic; one granddaughter, Millie Mills; and one brother, J. D. Munn. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Dwain Burke of Mabson; a special daughter-in-law, Sara Munn of Mabson; four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mae Opal Munn of Mabson, John and Linda Munn of Ozark, Willie Ralph and Brenda Munn of Albany, Georgia, and T. R. Jr. and Pat Munn of Mabson; son-in-law, Don Fisher of Mabson; nine granddaughters, Patricia Rowell, Donna Sexton, Michele Norsworthy, Tamara Johnson, Anita West, Shana Grantham, Courtney Munn, Theresa Keller, and Paula Hancock; ten grandsons, David Fisher, Eddie Munn, Keith Munn, Billy Munn, Daniel Munn, Johnny Munn, William Munn, Richard Burke, Jeff Bludsworth, and Paul Bludsworth.
