I have many fond memories of my visits to Alabama. And among them are the times spent visiting with Dowling and Lena Belle. Dowling always seemed to be smiling and always had a story to tell. His good cheer would lend warmth to the room. While he will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind, we look forward to one day joining him in a place that words simply cannot describe. Thank you Lord for the friendly spirit of Dowling and the many blessings he shared with all of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
