Mr. Gene Edward Miller, age 69, of Ozark, Alabama, died Sunday morning, November 30, 2008 in Dale Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Kenneth Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. Tuesday evening. Mr. Miller was born March 2, 1939 in Daleville to the late Jessie Mae Armstrong Miller and J. D. Miller. He lived most of his life in Marietta, Georgia, returning to Ozark in 2003. Mr. Miller served in the Army National Guard for four years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid Alabama fan. Survivors include one daughter, Donna Jean Miller of Sevierville, Tennessee; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ronald and Sandra Miller of Emerson, Georgia, Jimmy Miller of Kodak, Tennessee, Paul and Tracy Miller of Calabash, North Carolina; the mother of his children, Bobbie Nell Miller of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Jeff Gamble, Joann and Lamar Helms all of Ozark. Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Service Information
