Obituary of Edna Hagler Roberts

Mrs. Edna Hagler Roberts, 86, of Skipperville, died Friday, August 28, 2015, in Flowers Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, August 31, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Bill Weed, Reverend Tim Sewell, and Reverend Freddie McCain officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Roberts was born December 4, 1928 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late Ervin Emmett Hagler and Veva Webster Reeder Hagler. She was a member of Morgan Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Jefferson Roberts; one son, Wendell Roberts; one sister and seven brothers; one daughter-in-law, Choosree Roberts; one son-in-law, Jerry Wolfe; and one grandson, James Bryan Roberts. Survivors include four daughters, Joyce Wolfe of Horton, Oregon, Jeane Baysinger (Gary) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Veva Phillips (Kenneth) of Skipperville, Sharon Roberts Lee of Ozark; two sons, Edward Roberts and Jim Milton Roberts (Kathy) of Skipperville; one daughter-in-law, Dianne Hornsby Roberts of Eufaula; three sisters, Luvenia Bludsworth of Elba, Ruby Louise Strickland of Enterprise, Gloria Christine Carr of Ozark; one brother, Collie Webster Hagler of Casper, Wyoming. Twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
