Obituary of Danny Lee Wright

Mr. Danny Lee "Dan" Wright, Jr., age 55, of Skipperville, died Thursday, January 12, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, January 15, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral in Ozark. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P. M.
Mr. Wright was born May 28, 1956 in Dothan. Dan graduated from Carroll High School in 1974, having participated in athletics. Later he was employed in harvesting wood products. Subsequently he was employed with Sikorsky an Aircraft Maintenance Contractor for Fort Rucker. He rose in employment status from a crash guard to a supply maintenance technician until his retirement. Then he became involved in cattle farming. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed both hunting and fishing. His favorite companions were his dogs, Harley and June.
Survivors include his parents, Danny L. Sr. and Syble Wright of Ozark;
one sister, Andrea and Tony Edgar of Echo;
two brothers, Brett Wright and Camille Lasseter of the Bertha Community, Eric Wright and Betty Hunt of Headland.
The family requests the omission of food and flowers. Memorials may be made to Westview Heights United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 1045, Ozark, Alabama 36361; or to your charity of choice.
