Obituary of Jesse John Anderson

Mr. Jesse John Anderson, age 28, of Auburn, formerly of Ozark, died Friday, September 3, 2010, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, September 6, 2010, from Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Hill, Reverend W. L. Sheffield, and Reverend Harry Circle officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Anderson's body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time on Monday. The family will receive friends at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon. Jesse was born July 14, 1982 in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Carroll High School in 2000, and Auburn University in 2004 with a degree in Agronomy and Soils. He was employed as a landscaper with Pro-Lawns in Auburn. Jesse was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, ride dirt bikes, and play the saxophone and guitar. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn and an avid Auburn Tiger fan. Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Barbara Batchelor Anderson of Ozark; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Miriam Batchelor of Ariton; paternal grandparents, John and Gaynelle Anderson of the New Hope Community near Brundidge; his brother, Joshua Lee Anderson of Dothan; aunts and uncles, Jeff and Carolyn Batchelor, Sharon and Jerry Byrd, Jake Batchelor, Jimmy and Joye Anderson; his girlfriend, Autumn Weidman; special friends, Terry and Sandra Brabham. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 1971 Deese Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Service Information
