Mr. White, dear Mr. Pat White, was such an interesting and lovely man to know. He had such good stories and told them so very well...had he written a book of his stories it would have been a best seller. And he loved his Claire Lynn so very much. What a pleasure it was to know an elderly couple who so obviously still liked each other so much, whose eyes still twinkled when they looked at each other, who enjoyed each other's company and who were so absolutely committed in their lives together. I feel very fortunate to have known Pat and Lynn in their later years, and take comfort in knowing they are together still. Their love did not die; it's just in another realm now. My sincerest sympathy to their beloved girls at this sorrowful time. You were loved. I know. Pat and Lynn tol me so.
