Obituary of Stanley F. Jones

Mr. Stanley F. Jones, 82 of Echo community died Friday afternoon in Newton following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday at the Newton Baptist Church with the Reverend Benji Johnson and Reverend Larry Glass officiating. Interment will follow in the Newton City Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark Directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M. Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Jones was a native of Blue Rapids, Kansas. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for 30 years until his retirement in 1984. He has since raised Cattle and Hogs on his farm in Echo. He was a member of the Newton Baptist Church where he served as its treasurer for 40 years and as a Deacon. He was a member of the Gideon's International.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Everett Francis Jones and LaVeta Constance Clair Jones and his Brother Don Jones.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Jones, Echo
His Daughter: Ellen Jones, Newton
His Son: S. Keith Jones, Echo
Three Grandchildren: Elliott Jones; Alex O'Donnell and Olivia O'Donnell
