Mr. Vernon Leonard Hayes, Sr., age 62, of Ozark, died Sunday morning, June 13, 2010, in Dale Medical Center.
Memorial services for Mr. Hayes will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home of Ozark with Reverend Harry Circle officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Full military honors will be rendered following the service.
Mr. Hayes was born April 16, 1948 in Warrenburg, New York. He served in the United States Army retiring following 27 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6020 in Daleville. Mr. Hays was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Steve Hayes.
Survivors include his wife Linda Alldredge Hayes of Ozark;
his mother, Shirley Hayes of Warrenburg, New York;
one son, Vernon Leonard Hayes, Jr. of Ozark;
one stepson, Kyle Alldredge of Section, Alabama;
two stepdaughters, Connie Gibbs of Triangle, West Virginia, Victoria Lynn Carlton of Ozark;
five sisters and two brothers.
