Mrs. Myra Nell Brannon Rhodes, age 93, of Orange Park, Florida, formerly of Newville, died December 13, 2010 in Orange Park, Florida.
Funeral services will be graveside 2:00 P. M. Sunday, December 19, 2010, in Old Center United Methodist Church Cemetery in Newville with Reverend Michael Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M. Saturday.
Myra Nell Brannon Rhodes was born July 8, 1917 in Newville to the late Freddie Otis Brannon and Martha Elizabeth Galloway Brannon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Hubert Lee Rhodes. Myra is survived by one child, Myra Lee Rhodes Heck and son-in-law, Larry Lee Heck of Orange Park, FL. She retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company in 1978 as a Secretary with 41 years of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Myra's name to a charity of your choice.
