Obituary of Jewel Andrews Faulk

Mrs. Jewel Mazie Andrews Faulk, 95, of Newton, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, September 1, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Riley Enfinger officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Newton with Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mrs. Faulk was born November 28, 1916 in Dale County to the late Andrew Jackson "Jack" Andrews and Georgia Victoria Nichols Andrews. She was retired from the Ozark City School where she worked in the lunchroom. Mrs. Faulk was a wonderful mother, most wonderful grandmother, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Ray Faulk, Sr.; one sister, Alice Andrews; two brothers, Robert Andrews and Lewis Andrews. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Cletus and Barbara Faulk, and Craig Faulk of Newton; two grandchildren, Adam Faulk and Andrew Faulk of Newton; and one sister, Gladys Andrews Rowland of Newton. The family would like to thank her Covenant Hospice "Angels", Lindsey, Lisa, Carla, Tracy, and others she was associated with during her illness.
